While both life coaches and mental health therapists help individuals improve their lives, therapists typically look back at the past to solve current problems while coaches look at todays resources to make a plan moving forward.
My approach to goal-setting is to help clients identify specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. I also work with clients to create a Summit Statement to guide all goals along the path to the summit.
Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practice. I adhere to the HIPPA as per my license requires.
